Laminated wooden panels construction method (X-LAM)

The construction system named Dolomites X-lam is made of wooden baffles designed to ensure maximum static performance against seismic loads, wind loads and snow loads and overloads according to the current international building codes.

General specifications:

1. Double sheet of fiber board
2. Insulated techincal compartment
3. Platform wall massive wood panel, ILLE X-LAM
4. External coat of a high density wood fiber layer
5. External plastering/painting

The system is suitable/suggested for the construction of multistory buildings. The static function is performed by structural panels made of layers of wooden planks of glued spruce, folded and stacked; the thickness depends on the occurring loads and these panels are produced by companies with proven experience, certified by Agencies recognized at European level.

The connection between the wood elements and the reinforced concrete below is made by metal carpentry (brackets, angles, etc.), adequately dimensioned after proper calculation.

On the wall panels external side facade cladding is applied (insulating coat, ventilated facade), while the wall panels internal side provides a physical support for several technological networks installations, through the implementation of a technical compartment.
